Curriculum design is the backbone of academic quality and accreditation readiness. With evolving regulatory frameworks such as NEP 2020, UGC Curriculum & Credit Framework, and NAAC requirements, institutions must demonstrate clarity, balance, and intent in how different course types are structured within academic programmes.
This workshop, “Understanding the Landscape of Course Types in Higher Education,” is designed to help academic leaders and faculty gain a clear and practical understanding of various course categories—including Core Courses, Electives, AECC, SEC, VAC, MOOCs, internships, and non-credit components—and their role in curriculum planning and accreditation compliance.
Led by Dr. Ashok Kumar Goel, a veteran academic leader with over 39 years of experience, the session focuses on translating regulatory expectations into implementable curriculum structures and matrices that strengthen academic quality and institutional preparedness.
